Events Manager   CLIM8 Events Manager The CLIM8 Events Manager is a very comprehensive Events Management Module which can manage any type of event from simple single session events to multiple day/multiple track events. You can manage all the resources required for an event, from the speakers in the sessions to pens given out to delegates. Costs can be applied to all the resources. Diaries for book-able resources can be managed. Venue bookings can be controlled through the CLIM8 Events Manager - allowing you to state which venue or venues you are using for an event and which rooms are required for each session. The information you store about these venues is fully definable - allowing you to store such things as details of the parking facilities, maps, accessibility, etc. Events can have a maximum number of delegates, and a waiting list can be held for when an event is fully booked. If a delegate cancels then the CLIM8 Event Manager will inform the Event Administrator that somebody from the waiting list should be contacted. As the delegates are people at organisations held within CLIM8, you can store any information you require about them, for example accessibility needs or dietary requirements, incoming flights, hotel rooms booked, etc. Attendance costs can be controlled through the CLIM8 Events Manager - you can create multiple costs for a single event and specify which one to use when you book a delegate. If you hold information against your delegates which helps identify which cost to apply, for example VIPs may get a discount of 10%, then you can specify that in the CLIM8 Events Manager and it will suggest the best cost to apply. With this information, and the resource cost information, the CLIM8 Events Manager constantly provides information on how much an event costs and if it is proving cost-effective. All documentation for an event can be controlled through the CLIM8 Events Manager - for example event information packs, booking confirmations, invoices, name badges, attendance lists, feedback questionnaires, etc. These documents can be automatically generated when a specified action happens - for example, a booking confirmation can be automatically created when a delegate books on an event - or manually created by the event administrator. You can create a profile from an existing event, so if you want to run a similar event in the future you will have minimal set-up to do within the CLIM8 Events Manager. The CLIM8 Software Development Kit allows web developers to integrate their web sites with the Events Manager. This is currently used by a number of organisations to allow client's access to their own data, request and download further information which is then logged in CLIM8, and book onto events. The integration can either be performed by your own web developers or PPD Computing Limited can be contracted to perform the integration.
